Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh was a Dutch artist who spent some years in England, where he was inspired to begin painting. He is generally known for his impressionistic style, and influenced many artists in England, such as Walter Sickert and Francis Bacon.
Vincent felt he was an outcast and suffered major depression. He rented an upstairs room where he basically hid except for meals and painting in the garden. He is known to have cut off a piece of his ear and other erratic behavior. At the end of his life, he mysteriously shot himself with a non life threatening wound. He entered his abode where he was renting a room. went upstairs. He later died in his brother's arms.
